Welcome to the Village of Kalkaska: Space to Grow!

Fire Hydrant Flushing

The Kalkaska Village Department of Public Works will be flushing fire hydrants in the Village of Kalkaska beginning Monday, June 10, 2019 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to last approximately two weeks. We suggest that homeowners refrain from doing laundry during these hours and keep water usage to a minimum. If your water does become discolored, turn it off for as long as possible (1 to 2 hours), then run your cold water in a sink or laundry tub until it clears up. If you have any questions, please contact the Kalkaska Village Office at 258-9191.
